Meeting customer’s increased requirements

Although DMM has a vast network of industrial 3D printers with a variety of capabilities, their current selection of printers could not meet the turnaround time and quality requirements of some of their customers.

As a leading service bureau that prides themselves on bringing affordable and reliable industrial-grade printing services to the masses, they knew they had to find a way to stay ahead of the competition. They set out to find a printer that could drastically reduce their lead times without sacrificing quality.

One choice for unmatched speed

Ultrafast speed and reliable quality were DMM’s top two requirements when it came to evaluating potential printers. Leaps in productivity and added value

In December of 2019, DMM became the first Nexa3D user in Japan with their purchase of five NXE 400 printers. By adding these printers to their fleet, it enabled DMM to create added value for their customers and make huge gains in productivity. With Nexa3D’s advanced Lubricant Sublayer Photo-curing (LSPc) technology, DMM was able to ensure quality finished parts. They have also been able to drastically reduce their turnaround times by 50%. Previous lead times of one to two weeks were now being quoted at just two to three business days and they plan to incorporate one-day turnaround service.
