This trend is especially true for the automotive industry, where the need for lighter, more sustainable, lower maintenance materials rules future designs as manufacturers seek to minimize issues surrounding the corrosion of metals and their associated high costs. Most recently, DSM has produced Arnite® T AM1210 (P), the first-ever PBT powder commercially available for series production of industrial and automotive electronics, which will be available with Nexa3D’s Quantum Laser Sintering QLS™ 350 system starting in 2021.

Geoff Gardner is the Innovation Director of Additive Manufacturing at DSM, one of the world’s leading additive manufacturing solutions providers. Prior to joining DSM in March 2020, Geoff has a 20+ year history with multinational industry leaders such as Dow Corning, The Dow Chemical Company, and Wacker Chemical, using a combination of technology and market understanding to bring performance differentiated materials to market in high technology fields including Electronics, Wound Care, and Automotive.
Nirali Surati is the Global Product Manager Additive Manufacturing at DSM. She focuses on building a thermoplastics product portfolio for DSM by leveraging open and partnership driven innovations in the additive manufacturing ecosystem. Nirali joined DSM’s additive manufacturing organization early 2018 and brings with her close to 20 years of experience in diverse industry sectors within the broader chemical industry. A chemical engineer by education, Nirali has held several strategic roles ranging from new business development to business management throughout her career.
